Pets

Says it comes to Barnstable

Free service
508-240-7387
More details

Helps pay veterinary bills for Cape Cod pet owners who cannot afford urgent treatment.

For a senior living alone, the pet often is the reason to get up. This fund exists so a treatable illness doesn't end that.

Who qualifies
Owners on Cape Cod and the Islands whose sick or injured pet needs costly care they can't afford; also injured strays
How to start
Works through partner animal hospitals; ask your vet or call the Fund
Service area
All of Cape Cod and the Islands
For older adults
The Fund negotiates a reduced vet bill and pays all or most of it; the owner pays a small share.
